I was married 6 months ago today.

That's pretty stinking weird.

In honor of my anniversary of marriage to my wonderful bride, here is a wonderful video:

Home for the Holidays

Hello.

I am enjoying my time home this Thanksgiving. I missed my family and I'm glad I've been able to spend time with them all.

I saw Fred Clause for free. I ran into the theater manager (an old friend from school) at WalMart before the movie and he gave me 4 free tickets. What a champ.

I'm going to see August Rush with the In-Laws tonight. It looks like a quality flick.

The wife and I will be headed back to Cincinnati tomorrow (Saturday) evening. We will decorate for Christmas then have our 2 final weeks of class for the semester. BaddaBing.

Bye now.

Reflection

Before this semester started, I listed a few goals I wanted to work on.

Here they are:

-Study and become motivated by learning, not grades.
I believe I have made vast improvements in this area. Oh yeah...the grades come along with the learning.
-Integrate diligence in the mental, physical, and spiritual areas of life.
I have been a complete failure. I have not been able to discipline myself to do things regularly. I bought a Taebo DVD though...we'll see what happens.
-Create a concern for politics.
I have created a greater concern. I've taken a number of political quizzes (I tend to be on the left edge of center.) I have more research to do, but I am excited to vote.
-Serve
I have taken on responsibilities at B-Town and I feel like I am serving more than before. However, I still want to serve somewhere else in some other capacity.
-Survive financially.
Barely.

That's the update.

Thanksgiving break is next week. I'm going home for the whole week. I'm quite thrilled to see the fam.

That's all for now.

The Incessant Voyage Continues...

So here it is: the new blog home.

I am naming this "The Incessant Voyage." My life is a continuing journey from place to place. Here at The Incessant Voyage, I invite you along. I will provide you, oh faithful readers, with electronic updates as I experience life. I will provide my humble, ever-changing opinions on current events from my growing Christian world view. I will rant. I will talk about life, love, things of the sort. I will do my best at providing a genuine presentation of myself and my feelings. I will be real. This could perhaps mean that my choice of words or opinions may be offensive or different from yours. I hope and pray that this will only cause you to think, not judge. At times I feel like I have something to offer this world and it would be an utter shame if someone were to discredit what I have to say merely because they read the word "damn" and instantly conclude the contents are any less valid or any more "evil."

So please, join me as I go through life and tell you all about it. Most of you reading this already know me, but for those who may not:

I'm Andy. I was married on May 26th to Olivia Savage (I really wanted her last name, but taking my bride's name just kinda seemed rather unmanly.) We have two very entertaining cats (Liz and Conan). Now, if you think having two cats is a direct attack of my aforementioned manliness...shut it. I am a man and I enjoy cats. I also like to decorate.

I am a Junior at Cincinnati Christian University studying youth ministry. I help with the youth at Bridgetown Church of Christ in Cincinnati, where Olivia and I now live.

I am an avid sports fan, recovering from last night's loss to the Patriots (a game which the Colts seemed to have locked up.) I am a big fan of the Reds, Colts, and Pacers (that's a basketball team from Indiana- yes, the NBA still exists.)

I love movies and music. I like video games, Halo 3 is a frequent-play.

I have a great family, and I miss spending time with them. I have an older sister who appreciates me as the sister she never had. I have an older brother who always made me want to be funnier than him. Now I am. I have a little brother who could beat me up as a child and is a lovable squirrel.

I have two of the most loving, caring parents in the world. They have done so much for me and my siblings. I can do nothing to repay them for it all, and I do my best to make them proud.

Please feel free to email me or comment and ask me anything about my life.

Thanks for sticking with me through this long post. I hope you are on for the ride that is my life.

Sincerely,

Andizzle
